Building Vocabulary

This flexible series includes lessons and guided student activities to focus on vocabulary acquisition using Greek and Latin prefixes, bases, and suffixes to improve students' comprehension and fluency. While other vocabulary programs drill students with lists of words to memorize in a way that doesn't build reading comprehension, this effective program focuses on a standards-based approach to deliver rigorous vocabulary instruction, empowering students to learn new words and decipher their meanings.
