Robin Erickson is a life long, self taught artist. Drawing and painting are staples in her portfolio. In 2012, Robin’s mother, gourd artist Danielle Selby, introduced her to gourds as an artistic medium. Choosing mainly contemporary solutions, Erickson creates work using techniques that include pyrography, carving and painting. Her mixed media artworks are notable for their geometric precision and exceptional craftmanship. Robin has earned several awards for her gourd art.
